Here's what I learned after 4 months in Ukraine
It's not easy, unless you get lucky.
I went to Krivoy Rog to spend my winter with a woman that I had met last March/April. I rented a very nice apartment there for 3 months. Two and a half weeks after I showed up, she and her sister tricked me into buying them a $110 vacuum cleaner. Then I never saw or heard from them again. I was all alone in that obscure city. Man, I made a big mistake with focusing on her.
I managed to meet other women. I ended up writing about the whole experience. It's on the web with about 200 photos of cities like Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Mariupol, Odessa, Lviv. You can read the whole story at:

Some of you guys would probably find it interesting and educational.
I really enjoy Ukraine. It's exciting to go there. I found it easy to make new friends. And I like that the dollar has held up well compared to other currencies.
Well, if you find my story to be helpful, let me know.
